- Fall Kick Off- Fall Bible studies and groups kick off THIS SUNDAY, the next week and the week after! If you did not get a handout last Sunday, there are more on the tables around the church listing all of the fall studies. 9:30am Discoveryland kicks off THIS SUNDAY! Youth activities kick off THIS SUNDAY!

7-UP Bubblin’ Over Women’s Event- Join us on Friday, September 19 at 6:30pm for this bubbling over event as 7 ladies from River Valley will be sharing 7 uplifting testimonies of blessings that God has provided in their life. We hope you will join us and bring a friend as we fellowship together and enjoy 7up flavored desserts and encourage one another. Sign up today in the Connection Center!
- Divorce Care-DivorceCare has begun, but it's not too late to join in. Each lesson is on one topic and stands alone so it's easy to begin at any time. DivorceCare meets on Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 in the first floor conference room. - Kid’s Library Open!- The kid’s section of the River Valley library is open. Bring your kids down to learn about the check out system. There are a wide variety of materials: Science from a Biblical perspective, children’s series, DVDs and CDs, fiction, life lessons and, of course, children’s Bibles. There is even one of Earl’s books!
- Prayer Buddies & Jesus- Prayer Buddy’s and Jesus, is a new program of connection and communication for prayer, encouragement, and support of students, or parents, legal guardians, or teachers throughout the school year. It makes no difference whether a student attends Public, Private, Parochial, or Home School. All communication will take place between email exchanges. Pray—ers are also needed to be matched as a buddy. More information is available at the sign-up table in the Welcome Center or you can email Linda Oberbrunner at
