  1. Blessing of the Backpacks- This Sunday, if you are a child, teen or adult heading back to school, bring your backpack to church this Sunday to participate in the blessing.
  2. DivorceCare-  has begun, but it's not too late to join in.  Each lesson is on one topic and stands alone so it's easy to begin at any time.  DivorceCare meets on Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 in the first floor conference room.  To register or for more information go to http://www.divorcecare.org
  3. Growing strong in the faith class sign up- Sign up for the “Growing Strong in Faith” classes will continue to take place in the Welcome Center after each service until Sunday August 31st. Mike Oberbrunner will be at available at the sign-up table to answer any questions you may have. If God has placed leading a study or group on your heart, please reach out to Pastor Mark Sina at 
 
  1. The Adult Inductive Bible Study (Formerly Precepts) on the book of Daniel will start September 15th via ZOOM.  Please sign up in the Connection Center today.  The deadline to order books is August 27th.

  2. 11am Service Resumes on Sunday, September 7th
 
  1. Fall Kick Off- Fall Bible studies and groups kick off starting September 7th.  Check out your bulletin wrap for all of the details.  You can sign up in the Connection Center or on the Connection tab on the River Valley website.
 
  1. Moving Help after 2nd Service This Sunday- If you are physically able to help, please come back to help around 10:45am!
 
  1. Shared Missions Thank You- The Shared Community Mission Group would like to thank all those that made purchases, donated money and our volunteers who were able to Support our Students. The Lord brought us together and allowed us to work together faithfully. Your generosity blessed 402 students that affected 148 families this school year. Supplies were also donated to schools that teachers can use to help children still in need.
 
  1. Cornerstone of Grace Paper Drive-  The Cornerstone of Grace paper drive ends this Sunday! They are collecting paper towels, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, copy paper, diapers and Ziplock bags.  Please place donations in the bin in the Welcome Center.
 
  1. Free Items- The Kruegers have a lift recliner and a small wheelchair that they are giving away.  They are also giving away some of Marion Krueger’s angels.  If interested, please contact Lorelei Krueger at

  2. New Life Community Group Day Change- The New Life Community Group will now meet on the first THURSDAY of the month starting in September.
