Share the Love Volunteers Needed- Now that it’s officially summer, the Share the Love Kid’s Outreaches will be happening in Watertown in just a few weeks. This year, we will have the opportunity to share the Gospel to the kids at the Boughton Street Apartments and need many volunteers. Pray-ers, Gospel Counselors, Minglers, Crafters, Cookie Bakers, Set-Up, Clean-up, and others are needed for all four events. A compassionate heart for others is highly desirable. Training will be provided. Contact Linda Oberbrunner at: Sign-up sheets located in the Connection Center.
- Church Picnic - We are excited to see you all at the church picnic on Sunday, July 13th. There will be one service at 10:30am and a picnic to follow. We will be grilling chicken and hot dogs. Be sure to sign up to bring side dishes and desserts in the Connection Center!
- Thank You and Support Our Students School Supply Drive- The Shared Community Mission group just ended our Food to Go and Grow bags to address food insecurities for our youngest students. Our generous donors supplied cereal and granola bars. Food supplied came to a total of $2222.00. We are now planning for the Support our Students event in August. On July 6 a bin will be in the Welcome Center to collect school supplies. You have a list of our most needed school items wrapped around your bulletin this morning. Those items can be placed in the bin in the Welcome Center. If making a monetary donation, please note SOS in your check memo line or write that on the offering envelope. Thank you for being a part of getting our students off to a new school year of learning!
