-#YareshStrong May 11^th Barn Bash- A fundraiser is being held at the Bennet Barn on Highway Q on Saturday, May 11 (10am-3pm All events open to public, 5pm Dinner with pre-purchased tickets) to benefit the Yaresh family.  As most of you know, Adam was badly injured in a car accident and this fundraiser is to help their family with some of the things insurance doesn’t cover. There is a family friendly event in the morning with bounce houses, face painting, yard games, a brat fry, which is being organized by River Valley Alliance Church from members of our congregation.  There will be raffles, a silent auction and more!  Please come and show your support for Adam and his family by having a great time with yours!  We hope to see you there.  For more information click here:  www.yareshstrong.com  

 -Prayer and Worship Night- Sunday, May 5^th 6pm- Please join us this evening for a Prayer & Worship service tonight at 6pm here at River Valley.  We will spend the entire time praying and singing beautiful songs to worship the Lord.  We hope you will join us!

 -Social Media Manager Volunteer Position- We have a new volunteer position at River Valley:  We are looking for someone to manage River Valley’s social media presence. You should have a working knowledge of Facebook/Instagram and be motivated to learn techniques that will assist in promoting River Valley's mission.  You can work from home.  Unfortunately, there is no pay, but the retirement benefits are out of this world!  -Food to Go and Grow Donations- Thank you to all who made donations of pancake mix, syrup, granola bars, cereal or made monetary donations to the Food to Go and Grow ministry.  The cupboards are full and there should be plenty to fill food bags for the remainder of the school year.  Thank you also to those who donated their time to pack bags.  Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!
