Announcements 10/15/23
-This Sunday, October 15th is the Congregational Meeting to vote for the nomination committee. This voting is for members only, please. The meeting will be called to order by Pastor Dave during the 8:00 service and will be adjourned at the 11:00 service. Voting will occur during each service.
-We have enjoyed God’s great works, beauty and color all year. Now we need helpers for fall clean up. All are welcome! Many hands make for light work and we do all of the glory of God. Bring your gloves and garden tools Saturday October 21 from 8-12am. Sign up in the Connection Center or just show up!
-As many of you know, Adam Yaresh was in a very serious car accident in September. He has a very long recovery road ahead of him. There will be a fundraising event in the spring. Help will be needed with catering, MC/DJ, videography, set up/take down, ticket sales, social media and a silent auction. If you are feeling led to help in any of these areas, please attend a planning meeting on Thursday October 26th at 6:30pm at River Valley. -The Food to Go and Grow ministry needs volunteers to pack bags of food at various times during the school year. If interested, please sign up in the Connection Center. This ministry is also collecting pancakes, syrup, cereal and granola bars. You can place those donations in the shelves in the Welcome Center.
-- If you have prayer requests, please fill out a connection card or scan the QR code and we will get those to our prayer ministry.
