Hey I am Pastor Mark. I am so thankful to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior and to be able to serve Him here at River Valley Alliance Church. I don’t believe there is anything better in this life than to know Jesus and to do life with Him. Watertown is my hometown, and River Valley is my home church, so I have a heart for both the Watertown community and also this church body. My wife and I have 4 children and our desire is to walk with Jesus and to come alongside and encourage others to do the same.
One of the most amazing things that I find about God is that His heart is for the world and His desire is that all would to come to Him. There was a time in my life where I didn’t think that was true for me. Fortunately, Scripture speaks otherwise and God demonstrated His love through His Son.
2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Romans 5:8 – But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
