Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child - A Ministry
of the Samaritan's Purse Organization
"The
Samaritan's Purse
Organization is organizing a gift program for children this
Christmas. By participating in this program, not only will needy
children get a gift, but they will also be presented with the
true joy and hope of Christmas!"
"Imagine the childlike joy of boys and girls as they open their
presents on Christmas morning. Now, imagine that joy magnified
tenfold as a child who has never received a Christmas present, A
child who has suffered because of war, natural disaster,
poverty, illness, or neglect, receives a shoe box filled to
overflowing with gifts. That's the impact Operation Christmas
Child has on needy children around the world. Operation
Christmas Child, a unique project of Christian relief and
evangelism organization Samaritan's Purse, delivers gifts to
hurting children while also telling them about God's greatest
gift - His Son, Jesus Christ. You and your family, church,
school, or organization can take part in this exciting project
simply by following these instructions in this brochure. Also,
please pray for the child who will receive your shoe box. With
your help, we can bring joy and hope to millions of children
again this Christmas."

President, Samaritan's Purse
How Can You Give?

As a church we are again taking part
in this ministry to boys and girls around the world. Shoeboxes are
now available in the foyer for any families desiring to take part.
The AWANA JV clubs is taking an active part. Directions are in each
box. Thank you for returning your boxes by November 16th!
For the past several years, AWANA
Clubers and others have taken the opportunity to each fill a box or
help fill a group box for a needy child. This is a great opportunity
for you and your family to get involved in this wonderful ministry.
