Jesus is quoted in Matthew 5:14-16 as saying:

" 'You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a

lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives

light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to

see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.' "

Our Student's Ministry is a weekly gathering that focuses on empowering our youth to be lights in

their world. We’re dedicated to providing a place for our youth to connect with God, with their

peers, and with committed leaders that are dedicated to seeing students grow closer to Christ. They

will be challenged to let their good deeds shine for all to see, and to bring glory to God.

YOUTH GROUP

come and be fed

Summer 2021 Youth Calendar

Join us. All are welcome.

You are invited to join River Valley Youth Group this summer, as we enjoy safe and fun community together. Our team of devoted youth leaders is ready to build relationships with your student this summer to begin pouring into their life by the time of Fall kickoff.

These events this summer are fun, low pressure get-togethers, where students from any walk of life can come to and feel welcome. While these may not all be at church, our leaders are committed to the spiritual growth of your student through the context of relationships which begin in the River Valley Youth Group inside and outside of the church building. Join us. All are welcome.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

COME & BE CHALLENGED

Sunday School will be starting up March 7th from 9:30-10:30.

By the time our students are in middle school and high school, it is time to start challenging their understanding of God and the Bible. Sunday school is a chance for our students to engage the Word of God in a safe environment. Our aim is to go as deep as possible into the text of Scripture, and to discuss ways that we can apply it's message to our lives. Sunday school classes will push your student(s) to continue to grow!

Bring your Bible, note-taking gear, and a prepared heart!

See you there!
